Never been in a canoe before? Perfect, you're in the right place! Before each trip starts you will be given instruction on how to safely get in and out of the boats, how to paddle and steer, and what to do in the highly unlikely event that you capsize.

Wetlands Explorer

Approximately 2 to 3 hours

This trip is the perfect introduction to canoeing! Set off down the Columbia River with a guide who will teach you all you need to know about canoeing. This wide, slow moving, section of the river is great to try your hand at this traditional Canadian activity.

As the river winds it's way through the Columbia Wetlands, keep your eyes open for chances to see all kinds of wildlife, from bald eagles to deer, you never know what you might see...

Columbia Explorer

Approximately 5 to 7 hours

Our Columbia Valley Explorer is a backcountry canoeing trip you will never forget, as you paddle over 30 kilometers down river from Golden. This section of the river takes you into the wildlife rich, wilderness of the Columbia Valley.

This is also perfect for beginners, as your guide will teach you all you need to know about canoeing.
